Just curious if there's anyone else that was skipping your periods and not ovulating and was able to get pregnant with help from your doctor by being put on meds. Before you were able to get clomid, or any other fertility med. did your doctor tell you that you needed to have at least 3 periods in a row of your own first before they would give you clomid? I'm confused. Me and my husband have been ttc for a year now. My periods have been a mess, I've been skipping periods and I've never gotten a positive ovulation test. So far right now my period is 3 weeks late. And it was on time in January and February. Tomorrow I go for my first appointment to see about getting help getting pregnant and figuring out what's going on with me. One of my friends had the same issue as me, she was skipping her periods and not ovulating. So she made an appointment with an obgyn and the prescribed her meds to induce her period. But they told her they wouldn't give her clomid until she had at least 3 periods in a row of her own. I just have a bad feeling they're going to do that same thing with me too. When did they prescribe you clomid or other fertility meds? Did they make you have at least 3 periods of your own in a row before they would give it to you?
