Anyone getting or already has had an IUD put in?

We just had baby #2 but not ready to make anything permanent yet as far as birth control. I don't like taking the pill so I think IUD is my only option but I'm so scared!! Anyone in the same boat or already had one put in??

I had the paragard after my son for about five years and loved it. No problems at all. So I decided to get it again at my postpardom checkup. Well, long story short it went thru my uterus and almost punctured my colon, I had to get it surgically removed. This all happened within a week😒 
IUDs are convenient but I sure as hell would never get one again.

I had a Mirena IUD in for 6 years before having my son this past January. All bodies are different but here's my experience:

PROS: 
•I loved it because I always forget to take pills
•Very light to no periods
•Reliable 
•Insertion didn't hurt
•cleared up acne 
•got pregnant 8 months after removed (even though I wasn't trying lol) so you can get pregnant again

CONS
•three months of pretty excruciating cramps that I never had before but if you hold out, it stops after the three months that they tell you. 
•possible low libido- no proof just how I felt
•husband felt the string when having sex a couple time but doctor can cut it shorter do you don't have that problem 
•tender breasts

But I'm planning on getting it out back in even though we don't plan to have more kids...permanent decisions are soooo scary. My husband doesn't want me to have it put in again because he swears that's why I didn't want to have sex but personally as a woman to me, low libido ea due to just having a baby for the first time, doing all house work, bills, stress, and weight gain.

I had the mirena IUD for 5 years before I had my son, and got pregnant the first try. I had the Mirena IUD placed again 2 weeks ago at 8 weeks PP. No pain or cramping and the lightest of spotting here and there. It doesn't seem to have affected my milk supply either. The last time I had it I didn't get a period at all, so I'm expecting that again.

I just got my Paraguard  yesterday. Im 9 weeks pp.  Hurt a little bit and bled for 24hrs. But not much cramping.

I did an implanon implant last week.

I had one after my first baby. It was great for almost 3 years  I think it migrated, which they can do. I started having major hormonal issues and I believe it caused scar tissue in my left fallopian tube. I had it removed and the first time I got pregnant it was ectopic in my left tube. I had my tube removed and got pregnant right away luckily. 
I was scared to get it again since I just have one tube so I'm just taking the pill this time.

Heck no, I know too many woman who have gotten pregnant with it in (not an exaggeration at least 5). They made all their pregnancies high risk, also one of them hers grew into her cervix and after her baby was born they had to surgically remove it and part of her cervix.
