Hello!! This may be an odd post but I was wondering if anyone knows anything about African black soap. I've had this chunk for a while. I feel like this is normal, but I'd feel stupid if this is mold. Any insights?

Usually raw African black looks like that. I don't think RAW African black soap can go bad neither. I would just buy another chunk if you are afraid to use it. Or cut that part off and rinse it... it may just be dry. I use black soap on my skin and I love it... my soap usually last me for a year or even two. I bought 2 chunks back in 2016 or even 15 im unsure. One bar lasted me for a year and a couple months and now I'm on to my second one that.
