Just got out of a 3 year relationship with my first real love. it's been about 5 days. Ever since, my heart is going crazy. Can't sleep. Appetites not there. This LITERALLY hurts. My chest hurts. I legit have what feels like palpitations. Like my heart is skipping a beat. Mannnnnn is this normal??? I've heard of people saying "oh my heart hurts" after a breakup but I always thought they were being dramatic but no I am in actual pain. Is this normal?!? I am not ok 😩

Yes you can feel fell it, it's a thing.  It's called broken heart syndrome.  It will eventually pass.  There's a lot of research in it. Sorry.

Yes it's normal. Even these days over a year after breaking up with my ex I still experience chest pain especially in the nights when I'm tired. There's nothing emotional about it though... Since meeting my boyfriend it's not as much as it used to be. Just wondering if it will ever heal. My breakup with my ex triggered Complex Post Traumatic Stress in me (I say triggered because I was abused most my childhood by my father figure)... So yes I think the chest pain considering everything I've experienced is normal. It will eventually go...

I suspect that you may need some GasX. You could be producing more acid and maybe you have a bit of reflux. Being upset can do that to you.
