a word of encouragement
Hey ladies, I am 24 weeks and 4 days. I have been eating all the delicious foods that I knew I wanted to eat while preggo (and in general) such as, avocado, coconut, chia seeds, nuts, beans, fruits, veggies, organic meat, etc etc. BUT I am writing to assure those of you in your first trimester, not to worry. It may seem like all you want is carbs and junk right now. That will change eventually. I had the epiphany today that the first half of being pregnant was just eating what I could manage with my nausea, and giving into certain cravings (hello pizza and potato chips 😬) ~ but something clicked for me around week 20 where I've been able to cook and enjoy all the "right" foods and will continue for the rest of my pregnancy. Anyhooot - was just thinking someone may need to hear this. I know I did in the first tri! Xx
