Leaking Fluid or Discharge

OK mommies quick question....... One morning I heard a pop when I got out of bed and ever since then Ive been having a awful lot of discharge. I think it's discharge not sure because it's so much it runs down my legs. So my question is could the sack be leaking and that's the pop I heard and how long can amniotic fluid leak. I also been having contractions every other day.
