I'm 7 weeks pregnant should I announce?

I got an early ultrasound at 6 weeks 6 days because I thought I was further along than I am. The baby had a lower heart rate but they said that could be normal since it's still so early. We couldn't hear it but could see it. I want to announce on Facebook because I'm excited but I'm nervous to do so because I know 1st trimester is when I should be worried most about miscarrying. Did anyone else announce to the world super early on? Did you regret it?

Its your choice. With my first pregnancy, we announced to our family immediately but soon miscarried. When we fell pregnant again, i felt it was just as important to announce to family and close friends as ever because i felt like my first baby didnt silently go to heaven but went with so much love from his/her family. I wanted people to know about and love my second baby even if we were to have lost him. I dont regret telling family the first time or the second. We never actually announced on facebook either. People just eventually figured it out. 😊

If you would tell people if you miscarried, then you can tell them you're pregnant. If you would rather keep that intimate news to yourself, then don't tell until after 12 weeks.

I think you should announce when you feel comfortable- there really isn't a right or wrong answer. We waited to tell our parents until 7 weeks, and we plan on waiting to tell everyone else until 11/12 weeks after our later ultrasound. You just have to think about who you would want to explain bad news with also in case everything doesn't go as expected- some people would rather have a larger support system either way, if that's the case then go for it!

I personally would not announce on Facebook until I was 12 weeks. I told my close family and friends pretty much immediately though.

We announced at 8 weeks. Our first ultrasound was at 7 weeks. This is also my 4th pregnancy though, 3rd baby and I showed very early on

With my first pregnancy I announced it as soon as the doctor confirmed I was pregnant ( didn't have unltrasound). Think positive....announce it when you feel comfortable. Congrats!
