husband thinks our baby should cry it out
How do I convince my husband that you can't just let a baby cry and not attend to her needs? My baby girl is 3 months old. She is such a good baby and hardly ever cries unless something is wrong. We get along so well during the day. Lately I've been trying to get my husband to take on more of a role socializing with her. He wasn't feeling cooking today and I was playing with her on floor so I switched with him and finished the cooking while he was supposed to play with her. Well he tells me to put her in her bounce chair so I do. She's fine there for a few minutes but he isn't socializing with her. He actually started to put together a shelf instead. I said at least go do that by her and talk to her! He did but she started to fuss and eventually cry and he just left her in bounce chair. I said babe please attend to her! She may want milk or something. He said you just fed her and started getting mad me. He raised his voice and yelled baby's name as she was crying and I told him to not yell at her. I tried to explain lettting babies cry it out is not good for them but he acts like I'm spoiling her. Now he won't discuss it st all. He said we are going to have trouble raising this baby... i said no we just need to be on same page, I'm not going to let her get away with everything but she is a baby now!!! And won't be forever... he said don't use my words against me.. (because he always says this to me when I say how tired I am)... I tried to tell him about studies on crying it out. And he said I don't care what studies stay, people lie, and they don't know our kid. I said I know her pretty well and she doesn't cry unless something is bothering her, he basically yelled at me to shit up and Now he's being silent ... I feel so helpless with him. We are military and my family is all the way across the country. I have no friends and feel depressed but I would do anything for my baby. She is the light in my life
