Placenta Previa and a sex life?

About 3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with placenta previa. The placenta was covering most all of the birth canal. It was causing horrible cramps and light bleeding. The ER doctor put me on bedrest with no sex, no driving, nothing. I went today to my OB, 18 weeks. The placenta is still touching my uterus. Dr didn't say to stay on bedrest put told me to drink plenty fluids and keep taking it easy. Also completely forgot to ask about sex. Does that mean still no sex? Hubby and I both want it. It's been over 3 weeks, and I'm dead in my sex drive stage. Sorry for the tmi. Any suggestions or stories could help.
