Please give me some words of encouragement?

Everyone I know who has had a baby recently was either progressed, or already had their baby by this time in pregnancy, I am 38+3. I feel like I am progressing slowly, my cervix is very soft but not dilated, my dr seemed a little surprised. Could he still come at any time, or do I have weeks to go? My due date is next Saturday, and I have one day of work left!
