Baby Girl Ruth

Picking a baby name obviously is a huge responsibility and my name has a big significance to it. Knowing that I have always wanted my future kids to have significant names. Nothing crazy just names with meaning. I love the name Ruth. My grandma was a Ruth, and she was a huge person in my life. Also the Biblical Ruth I believe is a huge role model. I would love to name my future daughter Ruth. But I don't think it goes with my last name well and I don't want it to get forgotten as a middle name. I believe it has too much meaning for that. Another problem is my husband already has a name he loves for a girl. Thoughts on the first name being Ruth?  And day-to-day name variation ideas? (Like Michael's being called Mike)
