the dreaded single nap HELP!

Ugh so ever since day light savings time my little guy is down to taking one nap a day.hes older now and it's to be expected.  He used to take a morning and afternoon nap but won't go down for nothing. Even when he's a zombie at 3 pm I lay him down and he just babbles and plays and then it turns into kicking and screaming. I miss the second nap!!!! Mommy needs the second nap to get things done lol. Should I talk to him about this? Lol
