What do you do while baby's sleeping?

I have a one week old baby and my husband and I are finding ourselves a little restless, wandering around wondering what to do while our daughter is sleeping. She's sleeping a lot, not complaining. But we're a little bored without looking at that cute face. What does everyone do while their babies are sleeping, after you've finished with dishes and laundry?

I respond to posts on glow. Especially in the Controvery Corner thread. Or I watch TV. Or do random projects around the house that I've been putting off like organizing closets and cabinets. She'll stop sleeping like that in a week or two. You'll be wishing you had this time back soon.

Eat, sleep, or shower. Get as much rest as you can while baby is resting. Now I either nap or clean during the brief 30-40 minute naps he takes.

Sleep!  I didn't take advantage of the first couple "sleepy" weeks when all my baby wanted to do was sleep and eat.  Then three week mark hit and he was up all the time.  I wish I would have gotten more rest!

My daughter is 6months and honestly... when she's asleep I collapse on the couch and ignore the pile of washing waiting to be folded next to me. I'm pretty tired these days. You and your hubby should enjoy some alone time together while she's asleep, even if you just sit down together with a hot drink and share small talk.

Sleep, shower, eat, read, clean, catch up on phone calls or emails i have been neglecting. Watch a movie, or whatever else i would do in my free time before i had her

Sadly we didn't get that part with our little boy. So every time he would shut his eyes I would lay down. He would only sleep for an hour or so at a time for me.
