Travel to MX while TTC...precaution for Zika

I have a trip booked to Cabo in a couple weeks. The week of my arrival, I will be 15DPO and time to take a pregnancy test if AF doesn't show up. My concern is about Zika. I plan to bring lots of spray with feet but you just never know. My friends are saying I should cancel the trip. But other friends who just returned from MX said they didn't experience a mosquito problem and also used deet products. What are your thoughts?  I'm also waiting to hear back from my doctor.  Because I want to know what the implications are for even traveling outside of the US to MX, do I have to be tested, if not pregnant will I have to wait a certain period of time before TTC again???
