Chronic fatigue syndrome/ME, cycles and energy levels?
Okay ive been to the fatigue clinic and had a course on pacing ect, but menstrual cycles and energy levels weren't discussed and I don't go anymore. I feel like my energy levels dip when I'm on my period and when I ovulate, I've noticed my deep sleep is a lot lower during these times too under an hour REM in about 7/8 hours sleep, I'm wondering if this is something I'll just have to deal with or if I should adjust my pacing at these points in my cycle? I'm only just getting used to pacing so if I have to adjust I'd rather do it now so it might be easier? I know fatigue ect are normal symptoms of period stuff but with CFS its debilitating and really reduces my quality of life again even if it's only a few days, and its so much harder to control the hormone related mood swings with no energy so I feel like I right c*nt because of it :(
