Pregnancy Video, but I "Miscarried"
I was home for Christmas and took a few pregnancy tests in December which were positive. Being that I live out of state from ALL my other family and we were also going on a cruise with my parents (not drinking?!) we decided to tell everyone. It was crappy circumstances and we really discussed it before hand. I knew the date of conception and I was only about 6 weeks and hadn't gone to the doctor or anything but we made a conscious decision and took that risk.
I documented all of it: I videoed my initial reaction while waiting for the test result, I videoed my husband, I videoed my parents' reaction and I videoed my extended family's reaction. I was going to put it all together and that was going to be our official announcement...
I lost it within the second day of the cruise. As soon as we got back I went to the ER and everything was negative.
My question is, what should I do with these videos? I kind of still want to put it together but at the same time some people see 6 weeks as just like a "Yeah that one didn't make it, better luck next time!" It was considered a miscarriage but only 6 weeks, what do you guys think? What would you do if you were incorporating your hobby into your announcement and you miscarried?
I also get a little bummed because I don't ever think I could do that again, I feel like as soon as I bust a camera out people will know it's another pregnancy announcement :(
