Morning sickness tricks
I got so tired of being sick for 5 weeks straight (I started feeling 24/7 nausea at 5 weeks...and it's just been a downhill slope.)
Yesterday I looked up some "cures" around the web and in an act of desperation, tried a few...
- apple cider vinegar in water helps. I have really missed drinking water but find I can't stomach a lot of liquids. With ACV I was able to drink 4oz without even noticing. It also takes the yucky taste/feeling out of my mouth
- I've also dug out Manuka honey from New Zealand that I bought last year...not sure if the small spoonfuls are helping yet, but it does help with a boost of sugary energy without making me feel sick
- kombucha - I'm on the fence on this one. Tried a few sips but worried about the little alcohol content it may have. It does help settle my stomach though.
Just thought I'd share, because today I actually felt like getting laundry started and watering my plants, instead of just wallowing in discomfort on the couch!
