Is there a certain point where taking prenatal pills has no effect?

I don't plan to stop taking them. Just curious if they stop working at a certain point during pregnancy

Stopped mine around 8 months bc they started making me very sick to my stomach, so my OB gave me the OK to stop them.

They work throughout just as a regular multivitamin wouldn't lose their effectiveness. They are necessary before conceiving, during and after....if breastfeeding through that as well

Nope. you're even supposed to keep taking them after you give birth while you breastfeed.

They should be taken during and AFTER,pregnancy,  until ur body and hormones go back to normal. ..

No, I have a friend who says long after her pregnancy she still took them because during her pregnancy it gave her and the baby the full vitamins they needed which some foods lacked. I have stopped taking mines once I hit almost 8 months it was only because they made me so sick I couldn't take them anymore.
