who was in your delivery room?

Who was in the room when you gave birth, besides the nurses, doctors, midwives, doulas, etc?

Just my husband both times! And will be just hubby this time too.

I had my fiance and my mom with me since this was my first and a c section I felt like I needed my mama. We all still need them from time to time.

My boyfriend and his mom. I'm so thankful for both of their support throughout.

Did this 5 times, and each time was different...

Baby 1: Induction turned C-section, so just my husband.
Baby 2: VBAC with just hubby present
Baby 3: VBAC with hubby and mother-in-law (who was also our photographer)
Baby 4: VBAC with hubby, mother-in-law (photographer), and father-in-law
Baby 5: VBAC with hubby, mother-in-law (photographer), and sister-in-law, plus two nursing students who were shadowing that day and had never seen a live VBAC birth with a mother leading the pushing stage and the midwife observing rather than directing.
