boyfriends penis is peeling!?!?

My boyfriend and i have unprotected sex, and this weekend, it was his birthday so we had a lot of sex. On sunday after the night of lots of sex, i noticed that my vagina felt sore/itchy. And this morning when we had sex white little chunks came out of me, so i assumed that i had a yeast infection but it was too late. However, after we had sex today, he later realized in the evening that the skin on his penis was peeling (dry, flaky). He said theres no pain thankfully. Could it be that i gave him the yeast infection? what creams are the best to treat yeast infections? or what else could cause this?
