relationship question

I'm in a fairly new relationship, it's been a few months. Right now my boyfriend is looking for a full time job and is not having any luck. He's hoping to stay in the area but there is the chance of him moving. He told me that he's already gone through a long distance relationship and he did not like going through that. I love him but it does not sound like he is optimistic of us going the physical distance. Do I end the relationship now so I don't have my heart broken later or deal with it when it happens?
