cheap maternity clothes???

First baby and I don't have any. Looking at the prices of maternity clothes makes me cringe. I'd rather be uncomfortable in normal clothes that no longer fit. Does anyone have advice on where/how to get maternity clothes for afforfable** prices???

I had luck at stores like goodwill and savers. Usually paid about  $6 for pants

Thrift stores and secondhand kid/baby stores sometimes have used maternity clothes.

Otherwise, Old Navy, Ross, and Target are pretty reasonable. Helps if you can catch a sale.

Get normal clothes in a size or too bigger. I got leggings, shorts (not jean material), and dresses a size bigger and they fit on my belly just fine. And I didn't have to pay a crazy price!

I was mostly pregnant during the summer so I wore the stretchy summer dresses I had before getting pregnant. I only bought maternity leggings and I didn't even wear them, I bought regular leggings in bigger sizes they were 2 for $10 lol

I got some great stuff at a childrens consignment fair called Just Between Friends. It happens twice a year in my town, not sure if it happens everywhere. I got shirts for $1 and pants for $5.

I would never buy normal clothes in a size bigger, it doesn't fit properly or look nice or feel comfortable. Maternity clothes are such a blessing and I've gotten adorable ones for 2-6$ at goodwills and other secondhand shops . I love fashion and it's important for clothes to fit well to feel good about myself - regular , larger clothes just make me feel overweight and frumpy.

Facebook marketplace, clearance sections at Taget, Kohl's, or JC Penny's. Goodwill or consignment stores. I've been blessed with some hand me downs from friends and family. Don't be afraid to ask if anyone has items for you to borrow. So many people around me have been passing things on to me just because they don't need them anymore and we want to keep paying things forward. As I finish using maternity and baby items I will donate them to my dad's church that has a home for unwed teen mothers.
