Mother in laws
Does anyone dread telling their mother in law they are pregnant because I do. My mother in law is so very protective over her son ( my oh) and the slightest thing she doesn't like which I do ( even if it's play fighting) she goes mental. I dread telling her we are expecting a baby. To add to the matter me and my oh love the name Blake for a boy but we was watching tv with my mother in law and the name Blake came on the tv and she was expressing how much she hates/ depises the name so I can already tell it's going to kick off when we name our boy Blake ( if we have a boy) I don't care that she doesn't like the name it's just the pathetic drama it causes. I do not get on with my father in law , never have never will but I know for a fact he'll be the happiest guy in the world if we gave him a granddaughter. I just DREAD this whole pregnancy due to my mother in law and her ways. She is obsessive and is always texting me and my oh to see what we are doing and where we are.
What with my pregnancy hormones and everything it's going to be pretty explosive when we see each other. My mother in law has made it clear that she doesn't want to be a grandmother yet but it's tough luck on her part because she is.
Before anyone adds to talk to my oh and my mother in law we've been there done that and got the tshirt so many times. We've been together 4 years and she's so set in her ways she will not ever change.
Sorry for the rant but has anyone else experienced this? I just really don't want the stress as I'm such a worrier and this baby is everything especially being a first time mummy😥❤️
