Help with promise ring!💍💎

NMR! - I need some advice!

So I gave my boyfriend a "promise ring" awhile ago... About 6 months ago. A little later he gave me one! I accidentally got him a size to big, so he doesn't wear it on his ring finger.

ANYWAYS, He ALWAYS takes it off! I feel like it shouldn't bother me but it does. He takes it off when we get home, he leaves it at home when he goes to his friends house, when he goes into interviews, and meeting clients. Should I be offended? I told him how I feel about it but he said he's right about taking it off for being "professional".

I wear mine EVERYWHERE, and when I don't he gets a little offended. What should do? How should I feel? 😥😢😳😅

He said to me "Well, it's not like were married. When we are it will be different".
