Did you or will you teach your children baby sign language?

If yes....how did you learn? Which books or YouTube videos were most helpful? Are you a multi-lingual family, if so how did that affect the baby sign language process? Thanks for your feedback!!

I just learned the basics from a baby sign book. "Milk, all done, ow," etc. I still use "all done" just out of habit.

I learned through books and a class in high school. My mom has run in home daycares since I was a child and always taught everyone basic sign language. It made things so much easier!

Will be teaching my future bub how to do baby/simple sign.  I learnt because I have a deaf cousin and a mentally disabled aunty (who has the abilities of an 11-18mth old).
I use it in every day life. Like drink sign for asking my partner if he wants a drink or food sign when asking him if he's hungry haha

Well I started learning ASL when I was in high school because I don't want a language barrier when I'm working (medical field) and I had deaf friends. Secondly I'm also hard of hearing- nearly completely deaf in my right ear (had an accident causing irreversible damage to my ear). I go beyond the typical baby sign because I'm bilingual with ASL. As it be, my daughter has abnormal brain activity in her speech part of the brain (frontal lobe left side) and she has a really bad speech impediment and I am working on her being fluent in ASL because she may not grow out of her speech impediment like majority of children do. There's a lot of really good books on Amazon and you can even google it. I don't know if you have Netflix but there's a program on there that teaches baby sign. My granddaughter (yes I'm 31 with a granddaughter- stepsons and daughter in law are 25 years old) is multi lingual as she's 3 but speaks English firstly, Spanish as a second language (DIL family is Hispanic) and does ASL. It doesn't seem to be hindering her communication. She's super awesome and smart and takes it on like the norm because for her it is. She doesn't know anything different.  My stepdaughter is also hard of hearing and years ago when I was teaching her ASL (she was like 14 years old) she took the same course I did so not to have a language barrier and to help with her hard of hearing (genetic disorder- 30% hearing loss). 
Sorry I keep using ASL- that's American Sign Language for those who don't know. I hope this helps with your question. There's also a lot of organizations that teach ASL and even baby sign as well. Just google it. Also look on Amazon as there's a lot of books that can help you with baby sign and ASL.

10 years ago, I got pregnant young, and chose adoption.  My son ended up having Aspergers, and was nonverbal for the first few years. Around three years old, he would get so frustrated because he couldn't communicate. So the adoptive parents started using baby sign language (food, more, milk, etc), and it helped so much for him. 
I plan to try and use some sign language with this baby, as well.
