Husband says all his friends went to strip club but he didn't..

Husband just got back from a week away with friends. He says that the last two nights they were there that everyone got really drunk and and his friends ended up going to a strip club both nights but he stayed back and just went to bed. I know it makes me sound like a total bitch to not believe him, it's just sounds so out of character for him. He loves to party. He was the one who brought up the topic of strip clubs, I never would have known if he didn't bring it up.  He couldn't look me in the eyes when he told me he didn't go. He just said everyone was too drunk so he went to bed. I would have been a little upset if he told he did go but not much. I just hate that he's possibly lying to me. I just don't see him telling his friends that he's going back to the hotel to sleep while they all go to a strip club. Would you believe your husband if he told you that? We have a very open line of communication in our marriage so he would have no reason to lie other than he thinks I'll be really upset. I told him it was ok to tell me if he did go but he's sticking with his story. Idk. I have a weird feeling
