Is induction easier if you are having contractions already?

I have been having quite a few contracrations the last few days. I was not dilated a week ago but I think I may be a little now, I had a little spotting a couple days ago.

It depends on if they are real contractions or Braxton hicks and how your being induced.

I have an irritable uterus so I have labor like contractions for weeks my 2nd I started having them at 34 weeks at 42 weeks I was induced. I was told my cervix was ready I just needed to start labor.  I had 2 pills placed (separately) and I went into labor and labored naturally.  Had my cervix not been ready I would have gotten pitocin
