Do you think parents should be friends with their kids?
I kind of think that's the opposite of a parent's job. There's a time and place to be friends with your kids and that's when they're older. Certainly not while they're still developing and you're supposed to be guiding them through life, worrying about teaching them the right choices even though they may hate you for it in the moment. My mom treated me like her friend and now as a 33 year old, I wish she would have just been my mom. Just curious what everyone else thinks
