Big baby?!

So I'm 35 weeks and I just went for a growth scan after an abnormal FHM. Turns out baby is fine but she's going to be very big, she's about 6lb 2oz now and could be around 8lb 12oz by the time I'm full term! 😥 I'm only 5"5 and weighed 120lb before I got pregnant, anyone else a little lady having a big baby?! I'm scared.

Honestly ultrasounds to determine the babies weight can be off. They can be off by a good 2 pounds. You could end up with only a 6 pounder still

I'm 5'2, baby was 3lbs 6oz at 30 weeks, expecting at my 33 wk growth scan tomorrow that she's about 5 lbs now. Full term they're estimating around 8.5lbs, maybe bigger 😲 as long as she stays healthy that's all I care about.

I don't think 8 lbs is a big baby, I'm hoping mine is 8 as all the other babies in my family have been between 9.12-10.12 and we are all your size. ☺

These are estimates and are notorious for being wrong, so don't let it scare you.  My lo was supposed to be 7 lbs 12 oz at 35 weeks, she was born at 37+3 only weighing 7 lbs 10 oz.  My grandmother is 4'11 and never weighed more than 99 lbs unless pregnant and had my 9 lb mother.

I'm 5'5" got pregnant at 148- at 36w baby was measuring 8lb 2oz and estimated to weigh 9lb 14 at 39w (that's today and csection day!). Can't wait to see if it was estimated correctly or not!!! 😀

At 28 weeks they told me that my son is 3 pounds already (82%) and could be 8.5 or 9 on my due date. I have a scan at 34 weeks and I hope he's slowed down a little.  Big babies are common on both sides of the family so I won't be surprised if he's huge.

I'm 5'4" and was 115 before getting pregnant with my first. They said he was gonna be about 6lbs but he was a little over 8lbs. It was probably better I didn't know or I would've freaked out. But it was ok and I only had a few small tears that healed in like a month.

I am 5 2 weight about 115 before me first I got to 167 and she was 8 7 and 21in long. My husband is 6 3 and weights about 180 so I knew she would be big. I'm pregnant with our second now have our next ultrasound on may 2nd so I'm expecting a bigger baby. I had to have some stitches but wasn't that bad harder to push her out though. You will do fine im sure :)
