Is $300 too much for a 1 year old party

My son will be 1 on April 20 so of course we are having a party. The place we having it is 260 that includes decorations, food, set up and break down for 10 kids. Every kid after that is 10 more dollar's. We plan to invite 20 kids so that's like 360. Plus we planned to hire a photographer. (We haven't completely decided on that yet). When I was doing it all myself a place to have it, table, chairs, decide and entertainment was going to cost me way more money my SO mom thinks we putting too much into it. We just didn't want to have it at our apartments. Our neighborhood have a stray cat problem and a couple unsavory people we rather not have scoping around and my apartment it self too small to have it indoors.
