To soon for potty training?

My daughter is 14 months old and i really wanna try putting her on the potty in the morning but i feel like its so early. When did you mamas start? I realize that she probably wont be fully potty trained for a while but does it hurt to try? She wakes up with dry diapers all the time and only pees when shes awake which i feel like is a good start already!

There is no such thing as too soon. If your child has an interest in it or an aversion to their diapers then they're telling you that they are ready.

Babies in Asia are basically potty trained by 8 weeks since hey don't usually use diapers there. I don't know why we think that kids in our cultures can't do it. I have a friend who potty trains at just a few months. It's a lot of work of course.

But I think if the kid is interested at 14 mos then go for it

It can't hurt to start introducing it, my son is 13 months and we've began showing him and letting him sit on the potty.

No harm in trying and introducing her to the potty getting her comfy with it . She might want to start using it or she might have no interest I say give it a shot.

I've been trying to potty train my son since about 8 months..20 months later, and he'll pee  on the potty, wake up dry, etc.. But BMs are a whole different story. He tells me he has to poop on the potty, but cries and refuses to go. He sat on the potty for 20 minutes this morning and nothing came of it. It's like he has to wear the diaper to actually go poop..

I was completely potty trained by 17 months. My mom didn't want 2 babies in diapers so by the time my brother was born, I was out of them. My sister was started early too.   If she shows interest go for it.
