insult or compliment?

Went to the gym with my hunky yesterday when a guy comes up and asks why I'm just sitting by a machine and not using it. Justin jumps in and says "were taking it easy until our little girl is born" I kid you not the guy comes back with "oh, cool so when are you due, September/October?" I said no in about 5 1/2 weeks. He starts to slowly back away and says I need to stay home, ain't nobody got time to clean up after me if my water breaks. It's gonna stop them from making their gains. 

Now I don't know whether to take that as an insult or a compliment- the part where he assumes I'm just fat or the part that he couldn't tell I'm 34 1/2 weeks pregnant
