animal vs human on a life raft

So the scenario is similar to Life of Pi. You are stranded on a life raft in the middle of the ocean with 1 animal, and 1 human and then yourself of course. The human and animal are strangers to you. However, to survive on the now sinking life raft one must go (you have to kill one), do you kill the animal or the person?

Things to consider: Animals are more predictable than humans (by species), animals are inherently innocent while humans are less predictable, capable of lying, betraying, committing evil acts etc. You can eat the animal meat (well the human too if you want to go there 😂) etc.
