If your ob prescribes you the yeast infection cream take it. Trust your doctor not the internet. I had a yeast infection and you insert the cream in your cupcake and it will leak out for the rest of the day. The stuff that comes out is the cream along with the yeast. You can also apply it on the outside to help with itchyness or irritation. It will go away. I've been through it and it worked.

So I was on vacation in Honduras where I got this horrible itch with discharge so I assumed it was yeast infection. I didn't feel comfortable seeing their providers or taking their meds so I bought plain yogurt and literally shuved it down my vargina. Not a whole lot, just some with my finger. Everything cleared in a couple of days. If you are not comfortable with the meds you can try alternative methods.
