April 3rd doctor told me I was 2cm and 90% thinned with baby at -3 station. April 5th I started feeling some back pain throughout the day, didn't think much of it, 8pm rolls around and I was having contractions about 5 min apart, thought they would go a way when I laid down like they always did, tried to go to sleep and could NOT get comfortable so I called my mom at 1am to take me to labor and delivery, I expected to be sent home like always but much to my surprise I was 4cm and completely thinned out with baby at +2 station and that they were keeping me! Got checked again at 6am and I was 5cm, by 10am I was still 5cm and got the epidural even though I wasn't in pain, I wanted to get ahead of it, they also started pitocin at that time because contractions were still 4-5 min apart. By 1:00 I was 9cm when checked after feeling lots of burning down below! They broke my water and I automatically went to 10 cm and it was time to push by 1:45. Baby was born at 2:06pm after just a few pushes! Most amazing experience of my whole life even though my epidural didn't work. Had some 2nd degree tearing and the stitches were the worst part but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world💙💙
