Bullying awarness please read

It's time more people start addressing the sad truths about bullying in our world, and in our schools, 30,000 kids stay home from school because of the fear of being bullied... does that surprise you? It shouldn't, I don't know the exact number but I'm sure it's allot, there are so many kids who have committed sucicide did so because of something that happened within the "safe confines" of school... do you believe that? No? Well maybe you should pay more attention to what's going on instead of pretending that it's just kids being kids. How many more families have to loose a child, and how many more children have to loose their lives? Is it fair that when those kids were screaming for help that it went unnoticed, or got ignored, is It? No it's not being a child when I was bullied I was told to always tell an adult so I did, and by that adult I was also told not to let what people say bother me yeah it worked for me but it doesn't work for everyone. My favorite saying is " grab that plate, okay now throw it on the ground, did it break? Yes now say sorry, did it go back to the way it was before? No I didn't, now do you understand?" Apologies are great but that doesn't mean it fixes what you said or did, a simple word or action can completely destroy someone's life, oh that didn't occur to you when you decided to send that picture or call that girl a slut? Let me tell you why it didn't because when someone says "Oh it's just kids being kids" it make that child think that it's okay and let me tell you IT'S NOT! it's not okay to belittle, degrade, or sexually harass someone in no situation is that Okay! How many kids getting bullied or killing them selfs is it going to take for people to start doing something about it! How much louder does these kids have to scream for someone to realize it's a problem?! It's out of control and you know what i salute #selenagomez for creating a show to address the situation when others are blind to it. Does this status make you cringe? Does it make you sick to your stomach knowing that maybe you have bullied someone knowing that what you said would hurt them? Good it should, or maybe it makes you sad because you are the one who has been bullied and for that I am truly unbelievably sorry.. And to all the people that I have ever hurt I am so sorry and I know that doesn't fix it but I just want you to know that I am truly sorry...
