I just want a boy SO bad what can I do to find out the gender as soon as possible?! I'm only 6weeks 6 days my first appt will be next Wednesday I can't wait!😇

You can ask your md for the NIPT blood testing and make sure to ask that the sex is checked because if the box to determine sex isn't checked off they will not give that result.
Many insurances do not pay for it unless you are high risk though.

There are genetic testings you could get done to know the sex of the baby. But please weigh the pros and cons for yourself and your partner. Think about how you would react to a test coming back positive for abnormalities. Lots of women get the test just to find out the sex without really understanding the tests true purpose.

If you qualify for cell free DNA testing, you can find out at 10-12 weeks from a blood test. However, if you are under 35 with no risk factors, it likely will not be covered by insurance. You can go to a 4D ultrasound place at 15 weeks and pay to find out gender. Otherwise, you'll have to wait til 18-20 weeks at your anatomy scan.
