Rib Pain

To the point:

anybody know of anything to reduce the pain on your ribs besides pain reliever meds?

Story:

Anybody else get rib pain under your boobs? I had them the first time ever last night. Started at around 9pm having tender ribs, went to bed and woke up with the worst pain (dull continuous pain) at 3am lasted until 5am. I eventually went in to the ER because I asked my mom and she never had them and told me I should go in, better to see what it is than to be sorry. Like I planned it in my head it went away right when we got to the hospital, we live about 10 mins away from the hospital. They told me it's just the ribs expanding to make more room and all I can do is take Tylenol.. anybody know of anything else to reduce the pain? It felt like being punched, that dull pain but continuous.

I took 2 off brand pain reliever 30 mins into the pain just to make sure that if it would have stopped right after I got it, that I didn't take meds just for fun.

Also I'm only 19 weeks, I saw online that it starts in the third trimester which makes me confused.
