Ectopic pregnancy??

Question

Has anyone ever had an ectopic pregnancy? Did you have normal pregnancy symptoms? I've been having cramping in the same place on my right side off and on for over a week. I know cramping in the first trimester is normal but it's beginning to worry me because it's always in the same place.

You would know bleeding is usually accompanied with this. I've had one felt like I was gonna die.

I've never had one but my dr told me it's more than just a twinge it's excruciatingly painful. So if you're not in a ton of pain I wouldn't worry about it 😊

Idk why it didn't all post. Bleeding started, and it was the worst pain, usually they don't go past a few weeks without a visit to the hospital to confirm with an ultrasound. If you have ever had appendix burst it's compared to that. Cramping in the first trimester is usually the uterus stretching and your body starting to adjust. I received pain this pregnancy right above my right hip where I could feel it when I breathe. It's so scary always but know this, as someone with six children if there's no blood chances are you are perfectly fine with a healthy baby.  Best of luck

Do you have pain shooting up into your shoulder? You should call just to be safe. I had pain on my right. Side and they had me come in just to make sure the baby was where it needed to be. Eptopic pregnancies are extreamly dangerous, if you think you might have one, call.

I have had two and with one I had pretty serious pain (ended with falopian tube removal) but the second I was not in pain at all. If you haven't had your blood drawn yet you may want to call your dr and ask to get that started right away. With mine, it was obvious after two blood draws that the pregnancy wasn't viable and potential ectopic. Better to be overly cautious!

I have the same worry. I tend to cramp more toward my left side. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid.
