22 weeks pregnant, I feel very down. I honestly Don't know what's wrong. Baby is healthy and pregnancy is going good but I just feel like I want to die... I would never hurt myself or have intentions of suicide. I told my boyfriend I felt like dying and all he said was " just have my kid and give me custody" 😔 I was hoping he would talk to me about my feelings .

That's really not nice of him to say. You should talk to your doctor. There's no good reason for you to have to live like that. There are meds that are totally safe for pregnancy or therapy which will help give you someone to talk to who is open to hearing your emotions. Please reach out for help! It would be best for you to be on the healing path before your baby gets here 💗💗

Men don't fully understand the amount of change that happens in a woman's body during pregnancy. Wether it be emotional, physical, or whatever.

You need support if you are depressed, I know how that is. I'm 27 weeks and I've been fighting my depression for a little while now. (On top of being stuck in the hospital all last week).

There are plenty of us to reach out to that are willing to be there. 😊

Talk to your dr! I was feeling that way for a long time and I was sooooo depressed i basically was losing my will to live. I mentioned it to my Dr and they actually had someone in their office who counsels pregnant women and I've been seeing her and it helps alot to talk. Even if it's just once every 2 weeks. It's important to talk to someone about what you're feeling. My Dr said usually those feelings in pregnancy signal that we are at risk of postpartum depression. That was hard for me to hear. It felt like I've already failed my baby. But now I'm feeling much better because I mentioned it. It's important to recognize during pregnancy to avoid it getting even worse after the baby is born.

Depression can start before the baby is born. I just had this conversation with my ob. I'm high risk for postpartum depression because I get postpartum anxiety. he wants me on meds by my 3rd trimester. Talk to your Dr don't suffer alone.
