intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP)
Hello Ladies!
I wanted to know if any of you have/had intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP). I haven't not get been diagnosed but after reading the symptoms I am almost sure i have it. For those who don't know what it is, it's when bile does t flow normally into you liver and cause extreme itchiness. It usually starts in the sole of your feet or palm of your hands. But it can show up anywhere in the body. The itchiness becomes so bad that can you cause yourself to bleed or become a rash which has happened to me. During my 1st pregnant with my son I believe I also had it but never got diagnosed. The dangers of this is higher risk of stillbirth which terrifies me. It also has you deliver earlier just to make sure everything is okay and that means being induced. Although it goes away also immediately after birth it's super annoying and can become painful. Any info you guys have would be appreciated!!!
