Can a landlord kick u out if u tell them ur pregnant?

I live in a one bedroom apartment for the last almost 3 years. Good tenant pay rent on time every week. My question is when I tell them that we are excepting can they kick us out because of it. We can't really afford to move at the time and really rather not have to try and stress about it. Only about 5 weeks right now and to scared to tell them yet.
