At home remedies for a sinus infection while pregnant?

FTM here. I'm 23 weeks and made it this far without getting sick...until this past weekend. I now have a sinus infection and am absolutely miserable! Does anyone have any at home remedies they can suggest? Thanks in advance!

Neti pot to help clear everything out (or saline spray), tons of fluids, rest. I would call your doctor if you really feel it's a sinus infection.

If it doesn't clear up within a few days I would see your doctor or an ENT. It's usually best to take an antibiotic to clear it up if you're able to. I suffer from chronic sinusitis and I know how bad it is to get a sinus infection... in the meantime I would take hot showers/baths (the humidity can help clear your sinuses), use essential oils if you have them, and maybe get a cold mask (they sell them at Walmart, you just put them in the freezer and they are such a relief!!). OTC allergy meds may take the edge off, but they will not cure the sinus infection.. it just dries your sinuses up. If you're going to go that route, just get an antibiotic (if you can). Hope you feel better!
