c section mamas please respond or breech mamas??

I'm 37 weeks with a breech baby girl. Having an ecv tomorrow to try turn her. If it's not sucuessful I've been recommended to go for a c section. I've never had a c section all my 3 previous babies were natural births no pain meds nothing and pretty easy ones to say the least too. I have to say I am mixed emotions now, if I have to have a c section I will be gutted, I know the recovery is longer and worse than vaginal. I just want my body to be able to do what it should be capable of bloody doing! So I feel upset, cheated, frustrated, scared u name it! Any mamas who had breech babies that didn't turn... did u have them vaginally or via a c section?... please comment the good the bad the ugly experiences of however they were born I need to know like as much as possible regardless how scary because I want to hear real experiences not just text book stuff in the books google is a no go! Lol xx
