Overdue ...Induction??

So I'm 5days overdue& I have an appointment today..it's like a regular one with my ob. What are the chances she'll set an induction date...do you think I should ask :T ..I guess I'm kind of anxious and wondering if she'll say no. I hear some refuse to induce til 42..last time I talked about it she said she wouldn't make me go past 42. I'm just so ready and hope she says something lol my s.o wants her to set the date for tomorrow because he only wants to miss one day of work. Have you ever asked your doc and they refused?
