7 weeks pregnant and emotional

I just heard somewhere that kids lives/happiness are affected directly by their parents... (which I know is obvious)

But it got me thinking about how my dad was more than useless growing up, he has 5 kids and doesn't have any relationship with any of them and now has 4 grandkids who he has never seen.

Then I thought about my baby and it's future relationship with my husband (his/her father)

I got sad thinking if it happened to me it could happen to him/her :'(

Luckily my husband is an amazing man and I love him with all my heart, I can't wait to start this journey with him I just feel so emotional about it as I've never thought about it this way before.
