I'd have to assume so since that's how it's made!? I mean they're all crash/roll over tested. We still have our head insert in our infant seat. And actually just put the convertible seat in jeep yesterday to try out, the side impact things really seem to keep her head in place great especially for sleeping! 😄

My girls head does this and I hate it. Sometimes it will just flop completely forwards :-( I did loads of googling and lots of other people have found their kids do it in their car seats, even when they are bigger. Just worry about her head and neck at this age.

I asked my pediatrician about this because my baby does it everywhere and always had slept that way, even swaddles in the crib. Doctor said it was fine.
