tv and phone videos

So my mom just popped a phone playing baby Einstein in front of my 4 month old. I'm against tv and especially using phone to entertain young children in the first place but I'm wondering what other moms think? I just think it's a lazy way of parenting (no offense to anyone who does it, to each their own) I just feel that at this age they need interaction not a fucking cartoon or technological dependency by the age of 2
