Crushes| feelings|school

Hey girls so I like this guy at school and we have 2 classes together. He's not like all the other guys who are asses. He's really nice, kind quirky, sometimes says random things. Overall he's a good person nanda he's cute too. We've just started talking. I sit beside this girl who's friends with him and that why we started talking. He always turned around to talk to that girl and eventually I was included in the convos. Now I realized how sweet he is but he has a crush on someone else. Idk who it is tho. How could I hint subtly that I like him? How do I know if he likes me? I'm sure this is all nothing since he's nice to everyone and talks to everyone.
