What week did you announce gender?

We're paying for a 3D/4D ultrasound to determine gender and I'll be a little shy of 16 weeks. We want to have a gender reveal party the weekend after we find out. I'm just worried the determination won't be 100% and I'll go back to my ob a few weeks later for my anatomy scan and they'll tell me the elective ultrasound was wrong and we already threw a big party and announced. What week did you find out the gender via ultrasound and when did you announce it?

Found out at 15 weeks and announced at 16.

12 weeks at NT scan and confirmed with genetic testing a week later. We are announcing our rainbow baby next week, but pry won't announce gender for a few more weeks after that -- although family knows.

We found out at 13 weeks and I accidentally told everyone 🙄 mil and Gil we're sure that it was wrong but it wasn't! We had another scan at 15 weeks and the 20 week confirmation 😁

We announced it when we found out at 20 wks. We didn't do any additional scans...but I would feel confident about a 16 wk announcement if the tech is sure about it...sometimes the babes act up...

Found out at exactly 15 weeks and we announced both pregnancy and gender on the same day. I was nervous to but it was confirmed at our 21 and 29 weeks ultrasound that it's still a girl!
